Explore our range of refrigerator leak pans and refrigerator trench drain pans designed to safeguard your floors from unexpected spills or leaks.
Leaks Pans are durable and easy-to-install pans offer a reliable solution to contain spills, ensuring a clean and worry-free kitchen environment. Find the perfect fit for your refrigerator model and keep your kitchen protected. Safeguard your valuables with Killarney Metals, the unrivaled solution designed to prevent water damage. Ensure your possessions remain protected and your peace of mind intact with a refrigerator leak pan.
Trench Drain Pans are the #1 choice in water damage prevention. These pans feature an inset trench and an open front, allowing appliances to be slid into place without the need of lifting over a side wall while also providing leak protection. Any leaking fluids will move forward in the pan and collect inside the trench and, through gravity, the water will drain down through the pre-fabricated drain pipe into your piping connection.
Common refrigerator issues that can lead to leaks include:
Clogged Defrost Drain: In many refrigerators, a drain in the bottom of the freezer compartment allows water from defrosting to exit. If this drain gets clogged, water can accumulate and leak out.
Blocked or Frozen Defrost Drain: Even if the drain is not clogged, it can sometimes freeze over. This prevents water from draining properly, causing it to pool and potentially leak.
Faulty Door Seals: If the rubber door seals are damaged or not sealing properly, warm air can enter, causing condensation and potentially leading to leaks.
Broken Water Line: For refrigerators with ice makers or water dispensers, a cracked or broken water line can cause leaks. These lines can become damaged or loose over time.
