Drum Spill Containment Solutions
Complying with EPA Regulations can be difficult, preventing discharges of oil, chemicals or other liquids onto your facilities floor can be as well . One of the primary ways to accomplish the goal of containing spills is by installing secondary spill containment systems. A secondary containment system provides an effective backup in the event of a failure of the primary container, such as a steel Drum or Barrel.
Killarney Metals provides outstanding spill containment solutions including Drum Pallets and Skids. Our 24 inch galvanized steel drip pan works with drums and barrels from 5 gallons up to 55 gallon sizes. These metal pans serve to provide temporary spill containment of discharged fluids until the appropriate actions are taken to abate the source of the discharge and remove spilled material from areas where it has accumulated.
Our Drum Pallets are equipped with features essential for handling container drums and barrels. Forklift guides welded to the bottom of our Drum Pallets make lifting and transporting material containers more secure. These Drum Pallets also incorporate angled walls to keep liquids held in the pan from spilling over the edge.
For additional spill containment measures, Cellulose Socks and Absorbent Pads are available from Killarney Metals to help absorb and hold liquids for removal. For additional information on Drum Spill Containment Systems - contact us.
